If you’re looking to open cases on a third-party website, Clash.gg is one of your best options. There are literally thousands of cases to consider, so finding the best CS2 cases on the website can take quite a bit of time. We’ve sifted through the massive amounts of offerings and have come up with some of the best options to consider, regardless of your budget.
Note: the skins that you win on Clash.gg are placeholders. When you win a skin, you win the value of that skin in on-site coins, not the skin itself. You can then redeem those on-site coins for the skin in the shop when cashing out. As such, it could be that rarer items aren’t available in the shop when you win them. You can always cash out a similarly-priced skin though.
Disclaimer
Opening cases can be fun, but it should stay fun. Only play with money or skins that you can afford to lose. Don’t expect to win. Case opening is not an investment; it’s a game. Treat case openings as a game where you pay an entry fee, not as an investment.
Furthermore, always obey your local laws. Don’t play if you are underage.

Our Methodology
In our search for the best CS2 cases on Clash.gg, we looked through official cases as well as community cases. We focused on offering a nice balance between cost-odds. Additionally, we sought to offer a good range of prices. There should be something here for everyone, regardless of your budget.
We are not including official CS2 cases (such as the Bravo Case, for example) as these can be opened in the game itself.
Budget Cases
What’s considered ‘budget’ is obviously different for everyone, but these cases are accessible for a wide variety of players and don’t cost an arm and a leg to open. Consequentially, they won’t yield the most awe-inspiring rewards if you hit the jackpot. However, these are a good option for someone who just wants to open a couple of cases with the profits from selling a dropped skin, for example.
1% Knife
The odds of opening a knife in an official CS2 case is 0.26%. If you want to increase those odds a bit as well as lower the price of opening a case, this one is for you. Granted, you can’t get an insanely expensive gem knife from this case, but a 1% chance at a knife is pretty good for the price.
The Hunter
The Hunter is a bit on the expensive side for a budget case, but it offers some amazing rewards for its price. The odds of getting those rewards are quite small, though. There’s a 98.55% chance to get a P250 Valence but everything beyond that gives you some nice profit. If you get truly lucky, you can x536 (or better) your entry fee.
Sticker Sheet
If you’re a fan of the (new) stickers in CS2, this case is a good one to open. There’s not a ton of profit to be made, but the odds of unboxing a sticker worth more than what you paid for the case are quite high. It’s a cool way to get some nice stickers if you’re not quite sure which stickers you want to put on your gun.
Exciled
The Exciled case is a budget case with quite good odds. Your odds of turning a 5x profit are 15% with this case, which is quite high. This case obviously won’t get you any dream skins, but it can be a good way to quadruple your low tier ingame drops.
Profit Abuser
The Profit Abuser case hasn’t stolen its name. If you open it, you get a 40% chance of turning a profit. This profit is small, obviously. But those are odds that are too good to ignore when making a list on the best CS2 cases on Clash.
Small Fish
If you don’t like taking a lot of risks, the Small Fish case might be for you. There’s a 45% chance of turning a profit when opening this case, making it a great option for people who want to play it safe. The odds of turning a substantial profit are quite small however, and you’ll mostly be making a couple of cents with each unboxing. There is also the chance (0.20%, to be precise) to 47x your entry fee, which is a cool bonus.
Budget Baller
The Budget Baller case is a great one for people who want a higher risk-reward ratio. It’s a case that’s getting quite expensive to be in the budget tier, but it does offer some nice rewards. There’s a 10% chance to 5x your entry fee.
Brokie 50-50
The name might not be very classy, but the case is pretty interesting. There’s a 50% chance at turning a profit if you open this case, and a 10% chance at a 3x profit. Those are pretty good odds, and if you’re in an ‘all or nothing’ type of mood then this could be a good one to open.
Blue Balls
The Blue Balls case has a 10% chance of turning a profit. If you get lucky (2.5% chance) you can get a quite substantial 17x reward. The other rewards inside that 10% profit bubble are a bit less impressive, but we still like these odds.
Medium Budget Cases
If you want to open a couple of cases and have a decent chance at unboxing something really valuable, you might want to look towards the middle of the budget pack. These cases cost more to open, but offer more substantial (potential) rewards.
Guaranteed 10% Knife
This case does exactly what it says on the tin. There’s a 10% chance that you unbox a knife after opening this case. The more expensive prizes are obviously going to be a lot rarer, but even the cheapest knife that you can win will 6x your entry fee.
Medium 50-50
Like coinflips? This one’s for you. This case gives you a 50% chance at turning a profit. It needs to be said that all prizes in this case give only a marginal profit, but getting a 50% of getting back more than you put in can be a very good deal.
AWP Main
If you like to shoot the big green gun, you should consider opening this case. Even if you’re not an AWPer, it’s a very interesting case. There’s a 24% chance to turn a profit when opening the AWP Main case, and even a (very small, admittedly) chance to get a Dragon Lore or Medusa.
10% AWP Asiimov
The AWP Asiimov is an iconic weapon in Counter-Strike. If you have a particular affinity for this legendary skin, you can always consider opening this case. There’s a 10% chance at turning a nice profit, and all the rewards feature StatTrak AWP Asiimovs.
5% Gloves
Today, gloves are a completely accepted aspect of CS2. If you are still running around gloveless and you want to upgrade your inventory with a nice pair, this is a good case to consider. There’s a 5% chance at turning a profit, which is better than what you get in official CS2 cases with gloves in them.
Beans
Those who want to try for a legend-tier skin without paying a ton of money for a case and/or getting very low odds at turning any kind of profit can try out the Beans case. There’s a 16.65% chance at turning a profit if you open this case, and getting to the more profitable rewards is quite achievable with this one.
High Tier Cases
If you’ve got a lot of money to spend and you want to potentially rake in top tier rewards, the high tier cases are for you. These cases cost a lot to unbox, but even the worst reward inside of them will usually cost more than the price of even a mid tier case. Note that, while the rewards can be substantial, the risk factor also goes up. Please refer to our disclaimer at the beginning of the article: never play with money that you can’t afford to lose.
ProSettings
If you’re interested in getting a loadout like the pros, unboxing the ProSettings case might be a good idea. There’s a 6.40% chance at turning a very decent profit, and even the lower tier skins are pro-proven weapon skins.
Knife 50-50
If you’re feeling a bit all-or-nothing, the Knife 50-50 is a great case to open. You either get a knife, or you get (pretty much) nothing, there’s nothing in between. A 50% chance at turning a profit is not bad at all, but do take note of that fact that there’s not any big profit to be made here. Still, if you want the thrill of a 50/50 scenario, this is a good case to consider.
30% Knife
If you like to have good odds at a knife’s worth of profit but you want to take a bit more risks than with the 50-50 case above, this is for you. The 30% Knife case gives you a 30% chance at turning a really nice profit. However, should you not hit that 30%, you’ll lose your entire opening fee, as there are no ‘fallback prizes’ here that give you a bit of your entry fee back.
60% Profit
A case with a 60% chance at turning a profit sounds like it’s too good to be true, but it does exist. The catch here is that the profit is never that big. Even the rarest prize will only give you 1.09x profit. So yes, this case is low risk (comparatively) but also low reward.
Vortex
The Vortex case gives you a 45.5% chance at turning a profit. Those are some very decent odds, and there are also some ‘fallback prizes’ in this case, with the M4A4 Neo-Noir (5%) giving you a little over half your entry fee back. Those are some pretty good odds if you ask us.
Conclusion
There are tons of cases on Clash.gg, with more being added every single day. As such, finding the best case is a daunting task. What constitutes a ‘best’ case will also depend on your preferences. If you’re a risk-taker, you won’t like 50-50 cases with low potential max profits, for example.
This is why we attempted to offer a nice balance of cases, ranging from super budget cases with regular odds to top tier cases with high chances of unboxing a knife (and also a high chance of losing your entire entry fee). There should be something for everyone in this list, no matter what your budget or goal is.
As always, we want to urge you to be cautious. Opening cases is fun and exciting, but it’s not an investment. You are not guaranteed to get a profit, not even after opening multiple cases. Odds for cases don’t stack: you can open 100 cases with 50% odds at turning a profit and still lose every single time. It all comes down to luck. A good idea is to set a budget and stick to it. That way you can enjoy case openings responsibly.
Good luck, and have fun!
